Concept Submission Guidelines

Concept submission follows existing NCI established procedures for submitting clinical trial concepts to the CTEP or DCP Protocol and Information Office (PIO).

New concepts, never reviewed by the Disease Specific Steering Committee (DSSC), must be submitted to the PIO at least three weeks prior to the next scheduled DSSC meeting to be considered for evaluation at that meeting (schedule).

Revised concepts (previously evaluated by DSSC and voted "pending with comments requiring a response or revise and resubmit"), must be submitted to the PIO at least one week prior to the next scheduled DSSC meeting to be considered for evaluation at that meeting (schedule).

For questions regarding the specific dates of Steering Committee (SC) and Task Force (TF) meetings as well as informal submission of trial ideas to Task Forces, please contact the CCCT Program Director for that SC or TF.

For questions regarding official submission of proposals for Steering Committee evaluation as well as the disposition of official Consensus Evaluations on concept proposals, please contact the PIO of the appropriate NCI Program (CTEP or DCP).

For scientific questions regarding any proposals, please contact the appropriate CTEP or DCP Program staff.
